Seonna Hong is a contemporary artist based in Los Angeles. I've really been diggin' her color palate lately. Seonna incorporates nature and animals into a pop surrealist style. Check out more of her work here. Also, if you're into podcasts, she was a recent guest on "The Jealous Curator," where she talked about process, inspiration and happy accidents.

I don't know if I've ever really shared a full on, certified love song in More Water. And that's crazy because I love love songs. So, here's "The Walk" by Stone Mecca. Enjoy, lovers.

I've been missing Hawaii lately. Maybe because I've been reading Barbarian Days by William Finnegan (and it's really good) or maybe because Hawaii is perfect. Either way, here are some cool facts about the magical islands: there are no snakes or billboards in Hawaii. And the Hawaiian Islands are actually a chain for 137 islands, not just the eight we typically recognize. Hawaii is also the most geographically isolated island chain on Earth, making it the most splendid getaway. Intrigued? Continue to read up on the Hawaiian Islands here.

Please check me if you ever hear me say "drip" as a synonym for swag or whatever, but anyways, Yachty & Carti came through on this track. It's been getting me through the long days. Plus it's produced by Earl The Pearl and his beats are very fun and good.

The second season of the Dissect podcast is diving into one of my favorite albums – The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. Shout out to my friend Robbie for the kind reminder. Head over to Spotify to discover the anatomy of the album. (And listen to the first season while you're there, it breaks down Frank's Channel Orange.)

Switch #1 and #2, and I'm pretty cool with this list. Happy birthday, Hov. You really are one of the greats, even though I've spent portions of my life denying it. I was young and stubborn.
