I've spent the past four days driving across the country and I can't tell you how many times I've said "woowwwww," in utter disbelief at how beautiful our Earth is. Along the way, I discovered America's National Parks Podcast. It's been a blast to listen to and learn more about the history of the gems of our nation.
Current location: Black Hills National Forest, South Dakota.

Cacio e pepe is a simple dish. And when done right, it's absolutely divine. Take a page from Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo and prepare this hearty, comforting dish for someone you love.

I'm really looking forward to Phony Ppl's forthcoming album, mō'zā-ik. Due out October 19, the band has dropped three singles from the project, the latest being "Before You Get A Boyfriend." Per usual, it's smooth and funky. Give it a spin!

Check out this very beautiful song, "Warm," from Dre'es and Mia. The dreamy melody has me two-stepping and swaying around the house, singing into my spatula about to flip these pancakes.

You've likely read (or at least saw the headline) about the United Nations' report on climate change. According to the participating scientists, we've got a little over a decade to make revolutionary changes to energy consumption to avoid climate catastrophe (read: Earth as we know it). The report's a lot to take in and it certainly left me feeling a bit defeated. But that's where my pal Leyla came in. She shared this to the point list of actions to take to address climate change in our daily lives. Read it. Make changes.

A while ago I brought up the idea of creating an art club where we all listen to the same album and create something inspired by the tracks. I'm still figuring out the details and logistics, but, if you're interested, shoot me an e-mail back so we can get goin' with it.
