This is weird, this whole pandemic thing. I wish I had more to say, but I'm having a hard enough time sorting through my own emotions that trying to write something poignant or prudent for this newsletter will have to be reserved for another day. One thing I do know, that I want to share, is I hope you are extending yourself and others a little extra grace these days. It's okay to not be on your A-game; to not be as productive, or creative, or calm as you think you should be or desire. Right now, work on being present - on tuning into yourself, your needs, your heart. Start with your foundation and build from there.
Anyways, I hope y'all are safe and healthy (and taking this seriously). Sending lots of love into the world, and sending y'all some links to things that I've enjoyed while in quarantine. I invite you to respond with any art, music, movies, recipes, books getting you through. (Especially books - please send book recommendations. I keep picking up sad books and need a comedic or light hearted break.)
Here's a song I've had a repeat: "Glide" by Jords. He sampled "Better Days" by Anthony Hamilton and I can't get enough of it.
