I was ill-prepared for this week's introduction, so you're getting a Prince video, because he makes everything better. Happy Tuesday. Xo.

Broders has this dish on the menu that's actually perfect: ricotta gnocchi with leeks, mushrooms, zucchini, peppered beef tenderloin and truffle cream. It's so insanely decadent and delicious that I was inspired years back when I first tried it to learn how to make gnocchi. Turns out, it's not *that* difficult. I like this ricotta gnocchi recipe and usually pair it with a cream-based sauce, but really, do whatever you want when it comes to that part.

I really love texture in art. So when I first peeped Joseph Lee's work, I instantly fell in love. The LA-based artist is known for his defining brush strokes and use of color. Check out his most recent project Identitychrist. You can find more of his art on IG.

I really hope we never let SoundCloud die because I swear it's where the best music lives (though it can be strenuous to find.) (And strenuous is probably an understatement.) Anyways, here's one of those recent finds, "Desert Rose" by Yellow Shoots. Since discovering this track I've been diving into his discography and it's all good. Smooth. Funky. Sensual. Listen when you need a break from the mundane. When you wanna daydream.

I try my best not to duplicate artists here, but Saba teamed up with Mick Jenkins & Xavier Omär for one of the best songs I've heard this year, "Stay Right Here." Reflective verses celebrate the journey of success. The track is melodic and full of love. Sit back and savor this one. It's really, really good.

Skin care is important. The older I get, the more I believe this. In search for a new exfoliator, I turned to my dear friend Ellen, the queen of a good skin care routine, and she suggested Nip + Fab's glycolic scrub fix. It's perfect. Gentle enough for every day use, leaving skin softer and brighter. And the best part? It's super affordable. Other affordable skin care tips? Drink more water and mind your own business.

Every time of year is a good time to give back, but especially around the holidays. Consider donating time or dollars to an organization near and dear to your heart this season. Need a suggestion? Check out the Walk to End Hunger, a fundraiser my pal Rachel helps organize each Thanksgiving.
